Flying in?
Fly into Chennai International Airport (MAA). If you’re arriving on 24 January, we’ll pick you up and bring you straight to the hotel. Plan your flight to allow time to reach the hotel by 11 AM.
Arriving on 23 January or earlier? Let us know and we’ll share recommended hotels you can book for your early arrival.

First Indian wedding?
You don’t need to know the traditions beforehand. We’ll add a quick note with each event so you know what’s happening. It’s going to be a fun, colourful and joyful celebration, and we can’t wait for you to experience it with us!
What should I wear?
We’ll share outfit ideas and dress codes with the wedding schedule. Think comfortable, festive and you!
If you’d like to shop for Indian outfits, take a look at KALKI and Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop. Start looking early and allow at least 3–4 weeks for delivery. Timings vary by outfit, so check the delivery estimate before ordering.
When should I arrive and check out?
Please plan to arrive at the hotel at 11 AM on 24 January 2027. Checkout is at 12 PM (noon) on 26 January 2027.
How do I get there?
If you’re local, drive over to InterContinental Mahabalipuram, Chennai, at 11 AM on the morning of 24 January. If you’re flying in, fly into Chennai International Airport (MAA).
If you’re arriving on 24 January, we’ll arrange a pickup from the airport and bring you directly to the hotel.
Arriving on 23 January or earlier? Please let us know. We’ll share a list of recommended hotels that you can book for your early arrival.
Do I need a visa for India?
Most international guests will need a visa to enter India. We recommend an e-Tourist Visa if your passport is eligible. Check your eligibility and apply through the official government portal well before your trip.
Foreign visitors also need to complete the separate e-Arrival Card within 72 hours before arriving. Please check the latest requirements before you fly.
Where will I be staying?
You’ll be staying at InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram. We’re happy to host you for the nights of 24 & 25 January. Checkout is at 12 PM on 26 January.
